Pour ce qui est de l’objectif des jeux de moto trial sur terre, il est presque pareil à celui d’un jeu de moto trial sur glace: il faut arriver jusqu’au bout du parcours sans tomber ni endommager l’engin à deux roues tout en essayant d’accumuler le maximum de points possible. En ce qui concerne le mode de jouer, le mode de jeux de tous les jeux de moto trial reste toujours le même : la flèche du haut sert à accélérer la moto, la flèche du bas utilisée pour la freiner, et les flèches gauche – droite sont utiles pour porter le poids de l’engin à deux roues sur l’avant ou sur l’arrière.
Quant aux obstacles à franchir durant chaque étape de jeux de moto trial en ligne, ils sont variables d’un trajet à un autre et d’un niveau à un autre. En guise d’illustration, le joueur peut s’amuser avec un jeu de moto trial sur terre qui présente tant d’obstacles allant du char de guerre au container nucléaire jusqu’à l’affrontement avec un avion de chasse de dernier modèle tout au long du parcours.
